Beaches
The area is full of beaches of every kind. Rocky beachs with sleek rocks and emerald seas, golden sands, desert beaches for those who just want to enjoy the natural landscape and busy ones for a coffee or a drink.
Choose your favourite and perhaps you ll find to have more than one!We can give you some suggestions but for sure you will discover your own!

asteria & ilios beach (20m). Sleek grey and green rocks, emerald waters, natural bay with a spring board and stairs, many little corners formed by the rocks where you can enjoy swimming alone or with company.

Agios Dimitrios (50m). Next to a small fish port, a hospitable beach with pebbles and sand. 

Katafigi or Plakes (200m). Sleek rocks, deep, crystal clear waters, one of the longest cave.

Pantazi (400m). One of the most beautiful beaches of the area. Grey sand and pebbles combined with salt.

Trahila (2Km). You will discover amazing rocky beaches all the way from asteria & ilios apartments to Trahila.

Kalogria (2Κm). A cosmopolitan beach where you can enjoy the golden sand and visit a cafe, a tavern or a bar.

The following beaches are also worth visiting:
Delfinia, Ritsa, Foneas, Kalamitsi

Food
Each asteria & ilios apartments has a fully equiped kitchen. You can prepare your lunch, dinner or drink the way you want it and enjoy one of the finest views of the area from your balcony.

There are also traditional hand made stoves and barbeques for those who want to try their recipies in the courtyard.

To taste some of the local cuisine try visiting a restaurant in the area.
You can choose between a seaside fish tavern in Voulimeneas next to Pantazi beach or Agios Nikolaos and picturesque taverns in highland villages such as Mileas, Kastania or Thalames.
